Urus Insurance is committed to making our website usable by everyone, including people who use assistive technology like screen readers, keyboard-only navigation, or voice control.
What we've built in
- Semantic HTML with proper headings, landmarks, and labeled form fields
- Written alt text on every meaningful image
- Visible keyboard focus states and a skip-to-content link on every page
- Color combinations checked against WCAG 2.1 AA contrast requirements
- Animations respect your device's reduced-motion setting
- No third-party accessibility overlay. The display options below are part of the site's own code, not patched on top of it at runtime
Display options
The round button in the bottom-left corner of every page opens display options you can turn on and off: larger text, high contrast, paused motion, and underlined links. Your choices are saved on your device and stay applied as you browse.
Spanish translation
The "Español" button in the site menu opens an automated Spanish translation of the page you're on, provided by Google Translate. Machine translation isn't perfect: the English version of this site is the official one, and insurance terms in any policy you purchase are governed by the policy documents themselves. ¿Prefiere hablar en español? Ongoing work
We test this site with keyboard navigation and screen readers as part of our standard release process. If you find something on this site that doesn't work well with the assistive technology you use, please tell us. That feedback helps us fix real issues instead of guessing at them.
