Urus Insurance is committed to making our website usable by everyone, including people who use assistive technology like screen readers, keyboard-only navigation, or voice control.

What we've built in

• Semantic HTML with proper headings, landmarks, and labeled form fields
• Written alt text on every meaningful image
• Visible keyboard focus states and a skip-to-content link on every page
• Color combinations checked against WCAG 2.1 AA contrast requirements
• Animations respect your device's reduced-motion setting
• No third-party accessibility overlay. The display options below are part of the site's own code, not patched on top of it at runtime

Display options

The round button in the bottom-left corner of every page opens display options you can turn on and off: larger text, high contrast, paused motion, and underlined links. Your choices are saved on your device and stay applied as you browse.

Our team is bilingual, and Spanish is spoken by the same licensed agents who handle everything else — by phone, by email, or in person at any of our offices. This website itself is published in English only; we would rather tell you that plainly than hand you an automatic translation of insurance terms that nobody here has read. ¿Prefiere hablar en español? A known exception

The social media buttons in our footer use each network's own brand colors — WhatsApp green, the Instagram gradient, Facebook blue. On two of them the white logo does not meet the contrast level we hold the rest of the site to. We have kept them as they are because a recolored logo stops being recognizable, which would make them harder to find rather than easier. Each button carries a text label that screen readers announce, and nothing on the site depends on being able to tell those three apart by color.

Ongoing work

We test this site with keyboard navigation and screen readers as part of our standard release process. If you find something on this site that doesn't work well with the assistive technology you use, please tell us. That feedback helps us fix real issues instead of guessing at them.
